FAQ

Transportation

  • I want to take advantage of the free public transport on offer. Do I need to download an e-train ticket?

The e-festival ticket itself is not valid for travelling by train. However, each e-festival ticket entitles you to one free and nominative E-TRAIN TICKET which can be ordered as from 29-05-2013 on www.sncb.be/graspop  using the SNCB code mentioned on your e-festivalticket.

  • I want to download my e-train ticket but my SNCB code is not valid.

Are you sure you entered the correct code? The SNCB code is printed on your e-festival ticket and starts with the number 0, the letter I and the number 50. This code can be used just once.

  • Can I take public transport back home after the festival?

There are no night trains after the festival but the shuttle bus service continues until the last train pulls out of Mol station (around 22:30).

  • Where can I pick up my children after the festival?

You can’t reach the festival grounds by car as all roads to the festival site are blocked. After the festival parents can pick up their children at the Kiss & Ride zone at Dessel market square. There will be a free festival shuttle running between Dessel market square and the festival. Check out the section ‘Festival shuttle’ for more information.

Attention: Parking is not allowed at the K+R. You can only stop for a little moment just to drop off someone or pick up someone.

  • I’m travelling from abroad. Can I travel for free with my festival ticket?

The festival goers from abroad can combine their e-train ticket with a transport ticket (outward and return journey) which is valid on the foreign railway networks until the Belgian frontier. As from there, their e-train ticket is valid for the train (no high-speed trains). Travellers who have Brussel-Nationaal-Luchthaven as departure or destination station have to pay the Diabolo fee.
