Bad Wolves made their GMM debut in 2019 and their modern US metal made a serious impact at the time. With former Devildriver drummer John Boecklin and God Forbid guitarist Doc Coyle in the line-up it’s not surprising that they got off to a flying start. Their debut album ‘Disobey’ is a strong statement and they inadvertently scored a hit with the Cranberries cover ‘Zombie’ following Dolores O’Riordan’s demise shortly before the album’s release. In 2019 they opened proceedings on Main Stage 1 on GMM Saturday. Two years earlier Tommy Vext filled in for 5FDP’s frontman but he has meanwhile been replaced with Daniel "DL" Laskiewicz, whose vocal range has opened up even greater possibilities for the band. They offer a perfect mix of a heavy sound and sentimental overtones, as illustrated once again on their latest album ‘Dear Monsters’, which they will be happy to introduce this summer. #GMM23
