You know what they say: better late than never. Black Veil Brides were scheduled to make their GMM debut way back in 2012. Forced to cancel due to circumstances beyond their control they promised to make amends. It took a while but this summer we can finally welcome them to the GMM stage. Whether because of the music or the costumes, Black Veil Brides is a band you won’t forget in a hurry. Their image and music are a tribute to KISS, Poison and glam rock in general. Their 2010 debut ‘We Stitch These Wounds’ was well received and follow-up ‘Set the World on Fire’ debuted at No.1 on the iTunes Rock Chart. In October of 2011 they rocked a sold out Trix in Antwerp. By that time the 2010 departure of drummer Sandra Alvarenga had left vocalist Andy Biersack as the only remaining founding member and with a stable line-up finally in place they were free to focus on making music. BVB have grown in the interim: their most recent effort ‘Vale’ (2018) showcases a band that knows how to write singalong glam rock tunes that sound bigger than life. This LA glam squad is finally coming to town and the BVB Army will undoubtedly highlight the GMM weekend on their calendars.  (#GMM22)
