Blind Channel

In Finland metal is the most popular music genre - no wonder they are the world’s happiest country! Metal dominates the Finnish charts and this success obviously breeds new talent. Since their debut dropped in 2016, the young guns from Blind Channel have not only conquered their home country but also loads a number of other European countries with what they themselves describe as ‘violent pop’. Their recipe resounded with countless fans all over Europe, especially when they took part in the 2021 edition of Eurovision. Mainly thanks to the televoting – the voice of the people – they took sixth place. Meanwhile they haven’t been sitting still and we’re betting you won’t either when they kick off proceedings on the North Stage on Friday 16 June.  #GMM23
