Singer and frontman Dez Fafara is something of a Graspop regular: he first played GMM with Coal Chamber in 1998 with Coal Chamber and since then he’s been back on several occasions with DevilDriver. Some of you will definitely remember their 2012 show when Fafara brought an eagle onto the stage. Both American and European audiences were blown away by DevilDriver’s eponymous 2004 debut. Just one year later they released the magnificent ‘The Fury of Our Maker’s Hand’, a strong, dark and heavy album that consolidated their success. After the release of ‘Winter Kills’ they decided to take a breather, leaving Fafara free to concentrate on Coal Chamber again. Their most recent full-length effort, ‘Trust No One’ (2016) contains the same mix of groove, thrash and melodic death metal that built their reputation so the new tracks are bound to spark some ferocious circle pits this summer!
