Eivør

Eivør Pálsdóttir is a Faroese singer/songwriter. In 1999 she joined the Faroese rock band Clickhaze but also embarked on a solo career under the name Eivør. She sings in Faroese, Icelandic, English, Norwegian and Swedish. Initially she sang Faroese folk songs and ballads but since then has vastly expanded her catalogue to include a number of different music styles and genres including rock, jazz, folk, pop and even classical music. Many of the songs she performs are her own compositions. #GMM23
