Played at Graspop Metal Meeting
2005 / 2007

How many people would almost die to see a band perform a lot of old classic metal songs live on stage again from bands who don't exist or don't play a lot anymore ?
Well, it is possible, because there is STORMRIDER! This band plays many songs of the 80's like you hear the originals. Who would not like to join a concert where songs from bands like Anthrax, Judas Priest, Metallica, Testament, Slayer, Forbidden, UFO as Megadeth, Mercyful Fate, Annihilator, Thin Lizzy and many more are played in a passionate way, since the band has members who all are masters on their instruments and have long years of experience in the metal style.
Some of the musicians have played or still play in other well known bands, like Lemur Voice, Laberinto, Form, Sun Caged, Fifth, System Pilot, Time Machine, Ripsaw, Powerslave, Speedica and Powervice.
The band started their career somewhere in 1998. Their goal was to play all kinds of 80's metal covers, simply because everyone in the band loves this style of music. Also there were way too little bands playing that kind of great music.
Stormrider already did some awesome gigs in The Netherlands and Belgium, highlights being the famous and big Graspop festival in Belgium in 2005 and 2007, and playing as support for bands like Testament, Laaz Rockit, Sepultura, Exodus and Death Angel. Stormrider always left an explosive impression on the gathered audience which lead to a growing fancrowd. Their live performance quickly lead to even more gigs through word of mouth.
The band has a great stage performance as great musicianship (Guitarist Marcel Coenen became best rock guitarist in 1998 and drummer Spike became best metal drummer in a talent scout in 1999), so you won't be disappointed when you book this band !
