The Luka State

The addition of The Luka State is great news for indie fans. This British band has been active since 2013 and made waves with a series of singles and several EPs. Nowadays it’s not that easy for a young band to force a breakthrough so they had to release their full-length debut ‘Fall in Fall out’ under their own steam. Eventually it took until 2021 to release the record but, more importantly, they had meanwhile established a reputation as a good live act. The Luka State has a strong connection with football. Their music is often heard at football grounds across the Channel and is a staple of Man Utd’s pre-game warm-up. Their latest album ‘More Than This’ has been out for a while now and will give them fresh ammunition for their 2023 European tour. #GMM23
