Biography
Formed in 2008, The Midnight Ghost Train is an American rock band from Topeka, Kansas. Fans of unadorned southern rock ‘n’ roll, stoner rock and delta blues will nod their heads to The Midnight Ghost Train up-tempo attack. There’s a bit of Clutch and early Sabbath in there but the most striking aspect about their music are Steve Moss’ gravelly vocals that sound like Lemmy who’s just swallowed a bag of nails. It takes some getting used to but his voice suits the music perfectly. The Midnight Ghost Train doesn’t care for frills or embellishments. Stripped of all ballast, the skeletal structure of the songs is perfect for the live stage and the band owe most of their fan base to its insane touring schedule.
