  • Acces & Opening Times

    Metal Town

Graspop Metal Town is located at just 1km from the festival arena. If you’re going to have a few after the last band has left the stage but you’d still like to catch a few hours of comfortable sleep, then Metal Town is definitely the ticket! You can either spend the night in a festihut or you can book a pitch for your motorhome, caravan or tent.

If you’re not spending the night in Metal Town you’re more than welcome to pitch your tent at the festival campsite situated next to the Metal Plaza. The price for your festival ticket includes campsite access so there’s no extra charge. For more info on the campsite go to https://www.graspop.be/en/info/campsite

    Arrival and departure:
Metal Town opens its doors at 2pm on Thursday so please don’t get there on Wednesday. Camping outside Metal Town until opening time will not be tolerated!

Access does require a voucher that’s included in the confirmation mail you will receive for your reservation. Access to the festival arena and campsite is not included! New arrivals are required to check in at the reception desk where you will be handed your village access pass. At the reception desk you can also collect your festihut key and breakfast vouchers and the staff will happily answer your enquiries.

    • Check-in: Thursday: 02pm – 02am / Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 08am – 02am
    • Check-out: we like to keep noise to a minimum for our friendly neighbours, so when you leave your vehicle in the car park it stays there for the remainder of the festival weekend. Exit times are limited to Sunday between 9 pm and 1 am and to Monday morning as of 8 am.

Due to popular demand we are also adding a food stall with French fries, pasta and pizza on the menu. The only accepted currency are the Graspop tokens dispensed by the vending machines in Metal Town and on the festival grounds. Remark: Graspop token vouchers bought in advance must be exchanged at the main box office of the festival.
