Eleven fresh additions and start ticket sales for Graspop Metal Meeting 2021

The organisers of Graspop Metal Meeting are toiling like mad to complete the line-up for the 25th XL edition. Today we have the pleasure of adding 11 new bands to the roster: A Day to Remember and Megadeth are just a few of the bands that will rock your socks off from Thursday 17 through Sunday 20 June 2021 at the hallowed festival grounds in Dessel.

With nearly all music events cancelled this year, the bands are champing at the bit to hit the road and the fans can’t wait to see their favourite artists in concert again. GMM is very much aware of this and we are doing literally everything in our power to organise a safe and memorable anniversary edition of our festival.

Amaranthe, Creeper and Suicidal Tendencies have been confirmed for Thursday.

On Friday Perturbator and The Pretty Reckless are joining the party and we’re also adding more prominent names to our Saturday line-up with Ihsahn, Monster Magnet and the very successful A Day to Remember. The Florida natives always manage to impress with their unusual but thrilling mix of punk rock and metalcore. ‘You’re Welcome’ is the title of their latest effort that was scheduled for a 2020 release until Covid-19 decided otherwise. The guys themselves have promised another spine-breaking effort and we’ll take their word for it!

New on Sunday are Megadeth, a prominent member of the Big Four and always in for a blistering thrash party. For the better part of four decades, master composer and band leader Dave Mustaine has thrilled metal audiences worldwide with stellar compositions and extraordinary riffs. But there’s more fun to be had on the closing day of the 25th edition of GMM. The Americans from Spiritbox are dropping by and Belgian war machine Bütcher has vowed to raze the festival grounds.

Following the returns period a number of tickets have become available for our upcoming 25th edition. Get ready to pounce if you don’t have your ticket(s) yet. Presales start again as of 10 am next Monday 26 October 2020. More details here.
