Just ask Counterparts: from small cellars to big festival stages, it all comes naturally to them. Formed in 2007, this Canadian hardcore outfit unleashed their 6th long player ‘Nothing Left to Love’ in 2019. They’ve been able to build a loyal following in metalcore and hardcore circles despite an impressive personnel turnover. Their inspiring work ethic and technical prowess are undisputed but it still took them until ‘Tragedy Will Find Us’ (2015) to translate that ability into hard-earned success. Their latest album ‘A Eulogy for Those Still Here’ deals with loss, sadly a subject many young people can relate to these days. (#GMM24)
