When Ronnie Radke was still part of Escape the Fate, they were the ultimate emo band. Mascara, a side parting, tight jeans… they were influencers before their time. When Radke was imprisoned on battery charges, Escape the Fate faded into the background but not for long. New vocalist Craig Mabbitt’s vocal range enabled the band to experiment with a new sound and the Las Vegas outfit gradually morphed into a rock band with a nod to their former emo days. ‘Chemical Warfare’, their most recent outing, targets mainstream rock audiences and will certainly appeal to fans of Twenty One Pilots and Imagine Dragons. #GMM23
