Sum 41

Sum 41
Played at Graspop Metal Meeting

Previous editions of Graspop Metal Meeting have proven beyond doubt that GMM and punk rock are a great match. In the wake of memorable acts such as Pennywise, Bad Religion and Dropkick Murphys, it’s time for another legendary punk rock band to grace the GMM stage. Following the favourable reception of the gold-certified ‘Half Hour of Power’ EP, Sum 41 rose to global prominence at the birth of the millennium. Fuelled by the single ‘Fat Lip’, their debut full-length ‘All Killer No Filler’ (2001) achieved instant mainstream success and their posters ended up on scores of teenage rooms. Almost seventeen years later, the Canadian punk rock band fronted by Deryck Whibley is as popular as ever. So dig out those baggy jeans and rock out to ‘In Too Deep’, ‘Waiting’ and ‘Fat Lip’! (#GMM17)
