GMM2012 - What started out as a two-man outfit in 1992 quickly developed into a full-fledged band and Nasum leapt to the forefront of the grindcore scene. They liked to experiment, frequently integrating hardcore, punk, jazz and traditional metal influences into their music and as of 2000, the band started to include slower and more doom-oriented elements. Then, in 2004, disaster struck as singer/guitarist Mieszko perished in the Boxing Day Tsunami. The band decided to call it quits but meantime a 2012 reunion consisting of a limited number of shows has been announced as a final farewell to the fans and also to mark the band’s twentieth anniversary. We’re counting on you to give them the send-off they deserve.
