Biography
Richmond, Virginia natives Municipal Waste formed in 2001 and are known for their fast and short tracks, an over-the-top sense of humour and their D.R.I., Suicidal Tendencies and Nuclear Assault inspired music. They are massive aggressive and masters extraordinaire at the art of partying: at Bloodstock 2009 they organised a world record attempt for the most crowd surfers during a live show so get ready for a no-holds-barred crossover thrash fest! Headbanging, blowing off steam in the pit or chanting along at the top of your lungs… the choice is yours but standing on the sidelines is not an option here! Released a full five years after its predecessor, ‘Slime and Punishment’ (2017) comes in at under half an hour for 14 tracks that make a Japanese bullet train look like a horse drawn cart. Didn’t you hear? Municipal Waste is gonna fuck you up! (#GMM19)
