Blackgold

Spawned by the London suburbs, this quintet are gearing up to open for Limp Bizkit on their European club tour. Blackgold’s masked stage appearance will undoubtedly elicit comparisons with Slipknot but their musical output is best described as a cocktail of Limp Bizkit and Body Count. Blackgold are here to get your adrenaline pumping and judging by their eponymous 5-track EP they will do just that. The tracks are ferocious from start to finish and their Twitter bio leaves nothing to the imagination: “We’re a band, we wear masks and we’re bringing nu-metal back.
