Until I Wake

Buffalo-based Until I Wake formed as recently as 2019. In 2021 their self-titled maiden EP delivered an initial blow, with a promise of more to come. In 2022 their full debut dropped with ‘Inside My Head’. The timing couldn’t have been worse: smack in the middle of the COVID epidemic. Like so many other bands they had to rethink their immediate future and make the most of an unprecedented situation. They’ve been honing their skills and in 2024 the stars seem to have aligned for Until I Wake. The versatile material on ‘Inside My Head’ – nu-metal, metalcore, synths – and the level of maturity for a band this young bode well for the future. (#GMM24)
