FAQ Camping Inferno
What is camping Inferno?
Inferno is a campsite just 500 metres from the festival arena. It’s ideal for festival-goers who don’t want to lug around tent pickets, canvases or inflatable mattresses.
What can you bring to camping Inferno?
Here is a list of items that are (not) allowed.
Can we book a Tip-Up, Canvas Tent, Festihut or Group Tent next to our friends?
Not when booking but at check-in our reception staff will be happy to accommodate you if possible. Of course, we can’t set up a Festihut next to a group tent but 2 Festihuts side by side is not a problem!
My friends will be arriving before me. Can I check in separately?
Yes, you can. The first of your group to check in at reception will be handed all of your wristbands for campsite Inferno.
We’re bringing two cars or more. Can we park both of them at the camping Inferno car park?
No. Additional cars can use the GMM car parks in the vicinity. Please note: with a reservation for a 6- or 8-person group tent you can buy 2 parking vouchers for the Inferno car park; for a 12-person group tent maximum 3 vouchers are allowed.
Can I set up an extra tent next to my tip-up, canvas tent, Festihut or group tent?
No, there’s no room.
Does my camping Inferno wristband give access to the other campsites and the festival arena?
No, access to the festival arena requires a separate festival wristband. You can exchange your festival ticket for a festival wristband at Inferno. Attention: Inferno tickets only give access to campsite Inferno, NOT to the festival arena.
Can my friends visit me at camping Inferno?
Unfortunately only guests staying at Inferno are allowed on the campsite.
How do I get to the festival arena?
On foot. Inferno is situated within walking distance of the festival arena (500 metres). Just follow the signs or your fellow metalheads.
