The first band for Thursday 17 June! 

One life, one shot, give it all you got! On the heels of our announcement of blink-182 as headliner #1, we’re dropping headliner #2 for Graspop Metal Meeting 2027. Their 2023 headlining performance set the arena ablaze and now Australian metalcore giants Parkway Drive are back! On Thursday 17 June, Winston McCall, Jeff Ling & co will wrap up proceedings on the South Stage.

From the small clubs in Byron Bay to the world’s biggest festivals: in twenty-plus years of existence Parkway Drive have come a long way. Since their 2003 inception, they have transcended the metalcore scene and cemented their place in modern metal with albums such as ‘Killing with a Smile’, ‘Horizons’, ‘Deep Blue’ and ‘Ire’. ‘Carrion’, ‘Wild Eyes’ and ‘Vice Grip’ are just a few of the live staples that turn a festival arena into a churning mosh pit in the blink of an eye.

If you caught their jaw-dropping GMM performance in 2023 then you know that these guys pack a serious live punch. Their show was among the weekend’s standout performances and got the whole arena moving. Next year they’re coming back to Dessel to deliver another shot of boot-to-throat metalcore as they close out the South stage.
