Some 34 years ago, the American rock band Extreme scored a world hit out of the blue with the ballad ‘More Than Words’ but rock fans were well aware of them long before that. The single topped the Billboard Hot 100 in their home country and the album itself (‘Pornograffitti’) is easily the most successful of their catalogue. On an individual note, guitarist Nuno Bettencourt enjoys a reputation as true guitar hero and has also worked with superstars such as Janet Jackson and Rihanna. In 2023 Extreme released their sixth album with… ‘Six’, their first in 15 years. In 2023 they sold out Trix in Antwerp and now they can’t wait to acquaint the GMM crowd with their latest offspring and a selection of their best tracks.(#GMM24)
