Heart

It’s always nice to go and see a band with a number of tracks you’ve been listening to since forever and to which you know most of the lyrics. Long before Seattle earned its reputation as the birthplace of grunge, Heart were flying the flag for the largest city in the state of Washington. The sister tandem Ann and Nancy Wilson are the heart of Heart and you all know ‘Crazy on You’, ‘All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You’, ‘Alone’ and ‘Barracuda’. This summer you’ll get to hear those evergreens live and anyone who can move Robert Plant to tears with an interpretation of ‘Stairway to Heaven’ deserves a slot on our bill. (#GMM24)
