Karnivool

With Deftones and Tool as their main influences, the Australians in Karnivool churn out progressive song structures with alternative rock/metal influences. Established in Perth in 1997, they originally tended towards nu-metal but over the years their output has evolved into the single-minded prog rock/metal they peddle today. With just three studio albums they are not the most prolific band but their live shows are always electric. Their 2021 single ‘All It Takes’ (2021) is the precursor to their fourth record. (#GMM24)
