With Europe we are proud to add a legendary hard rock formation to our line-up. Founded in 1979 by singer Joey Tempest and guitarist John Norum, the Swedish band forced a worldwide breakthrough with the album ‘The Final Countdown’. Their exciting mix of heavy metal, hard rock and the odd pinch of glam rock has sold millions of records to date. They threw in the towel in 1992 but eleven years later they were back in the saddle. Since then, the band has been very successful with festival appearances as well as new releases, the most recent of which is ‘Walk the Earth’ (2017). In 2023 they celebrated the 40th anniversary of their self-titled debut but they’re far from done! (#GMM26)
