Fit For A King

Texas sons Fit for a King formed in 2007 and released two EPs and their 2011 debut ‘Descendants’ under their own steam before being snapped up by Solid State Records. The Christian metalcore band delivers a riveting mix of punishing breakdowns, melodic hooks and lyrics that explore the sombre depths of the human condition. For many bands the third album is a breaking point but for Fit for a King this is when things really started to take off with the consecutive releases ‘Slave to Nothing’ (2014), ‘Deathgrip’ (2016) and ‘Dark Skies’ (2018).
