Killus bring a theatrical twist to industrial metal, blending mechanical grooves with a strong visual identity. Hailing from Spain, they’ve built their sound on the back of acts like Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails but with a sharper, more aggressive edge. ‘Feel the Monster’ (2013) marked a turning point, while ‘Imperator’ (2018) refined their mix of electronics, metal riffs and dark melodies. Their lyrics often explore control, power and psychological tension, delivered with a sense of drama that carries over into their live shows. Masks, imagery and stage presence all play a role but it’s the tight, groove-driven songwriting that keeps things grounded. These self-proclaimed ‘carriers of the infernal pulse’ are as much about atmosphere as they are about impact. They describe their shows as a ritual or an invocation rather than as a traditional performance. (#GMM26)
