Return To Dust

A newer name on the scene, Return to Dust offer a mix of grunge, stoner rock and alt rock that feels both classic and current. Thanks to streaming platforms and social media, the trio were able to build a considerable fanbase in a short time. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Alice in Chains and early Soundgarden, their sound is raw, melodic and radio-friendly at the same time. Writing about existential dread, emotional paralysis and inner decay, their take on the genre has nostalgic undertones but with a modern edge. On stage, Return to Dust like to build tension with hypnotic repetition, creating a spellbinding live atmosphere. Their self-titled debut dropped in 2024 with a collection of slow-burning tracks with a punky undercurrent. Featuring fan favourites ‘No Love’ and ‘Strangers’, the album landed them a deal with Universal imprint Lava Records, resulting in the release of the EP ‘Speak like the Dead’ (2025). In 2026 they continue to tour intensively while focusing on new tracks. (#GMM26)
