Health may not be a household name yet but these rockers have been active since 2005. They feel like a fish in water on the club scene of their home town of LA and their industrial rock sound strikes a chord with the young underground crowd. Last year they dropped their sixth album ‘Rat Wars’ on Loa Vista, the label that Marilyn Manson called home for many years and whose portfolio also includes Ghost. With the aid of creative noise, spellbindingly monotonous vocals and insane drum chops they create an impressive arsenal of atonal sounds without a pronounced symmetrical structure. Their music often features in video games and in a live setting they know just how to channel all the energy and chaos into a compelling whole. (#GMM24)
