Infected Rain

How many Moldavian metal bands do you know? None? As of 5 p.m. on Saturday 17 June you’ll know at least one! Founded as long as ago as 2008, it wasn’t until last year and the release of their 5th studio album ‘Ecdysis’ that Infected Rain made some real waves. Earlier this year their live recording ‘The Devil’s Dozen’ gave us a good idea of what to expect: extreme metal with influences from Jinjer, Arch Enemy and Gojira. Fronted by screamer Elena Cataraga, also known as ‘Lena Scissorhands’, Infected Rain will rock the shit out of the Metal Dome. #GMM23
