Novelists

There’s plenty of talent on the Dutch metal scene and in recent years some excellent acts have made significant progress. One of them is Novelists (often printed as Novelists FR). Emerging in 2013 as a progressive hardcore band, they evolved into a modern metal outfit with a penchant towards electronic sounds but without diluting the music’s inherent heaviness. Recently they released ‘Déjà Vu: Première Partie’, a juggernaut of an album that will definitely get younger metal fans moving. Fans of bands like Bring Me the Horizon will love this and in our opinion Novelists is one for the future! #GMM23
