Pest Control

Genre Thrash Metal
Country United Kingdom

Leeds has long been fertile ground for hardcore bands and now there’s Pest Control. Full of youthful exuberance and piss & vinegar, they take their cue from 80s thrash and crossover – think: D.R.I., Hatebreed, Nuclear Assault - but their take on thrash/hardcore is infused with a fresh and contemporary feel. Their full length debut makes it crystal clear what to expect: the tracks are short and to the point, with more attitude than you can shake a stick at. This is crossover thrash at its contemporary best. Most of the band members know each other from Implement and/or Mortuary Spawn and this is hardly surprising for a band that sounds as tight as Pest Control. For fans of Municipal Waste, D.R.I., Hatebreed, Suicidal Tendencies, Obituary, etc. this will be a highly anticipated GMM debut. (#GMM24)
