We care a lot
Metal is a big family and there's room for everyone! Graspop Metal Meeting is four days of loud fraternising at the best metal festival in the Benelux. Mosh together, roar along and headbang together and let loose for a while in an unrivalled metalhalla. Our holy meadow in Dessel wants to be a place where everyone can be themselves, regardless of sex, gender, orientation, culture, religion, ethnicity or disability. Discrimination, criticism and intimidation have no place here. We do our utmost best to guide visitors, staff and artists safely through our festival. We take care of you, and you take care of each other. Stay safe, stay metal!

REPORTING
Outside the festival period, GMM’s We Care team can be reached via email at: wecare@graspop.com.
During the festival, you can contact the GMM We Care team 24/24 hours a day (Wednesday afternoon to Monday afternoon). Are you in an acutely unsafe situation, do you need urgent medical assistance, or have you witnessed or been a victim of transgressive behaviour?
- You can report directly to the WCAL team via the QR code you will find scattered around the site.
- You can also report in the GMM App via the We Care Button (under the ‘More’ tab) - only during festival days.
- Alternatively, speak to one of the GMM or Red Cross (Rode Kruis) staff members on the festival site.
The We Care team will provide you with the right help as quickly as possible – without judgement, criticism or blame. Behind the scenes, our specialist care staff are ready to take care of you.
WE CARE A LOT ZONE
Right next to the Festival Entrance, towards the campsite Boneyard, you can visit the We Care A Lot zone. Together with various partners, we provide information on hearing damage, mental wellbeing, inappropriate behaviour, and alcohol and drug use.
We also provide a low-stimulus zone at the We Care prevention stand.
OUR WELLBEING PARTNERS
We work very happily and well with Alpine, Avène, Inter, ‘t Oorhuis, the police, Punt vzw, Rode Kruis Vlaanderen, Safe ‘n Sound, Sensoa, De Tuut van Tegenwoordig and the Care Centre after Sexual Violence Antwerp.
